Virginian Pilot August 31, 1978

Mrs. Lucille Vellines Grimstead, 91, of 242 Lucille Ave., the widow of Fitzhugh 
Lee Grimstead and a Norfolk native, died Tuesday in a nursing home. 
She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Mrs. Ruth Ann Gallup of Norfolk; three great 
grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, where the 
family will be tonight from 7 to 8:30. They also will be at her home.
A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Woodrow 
A. Giles.  Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of the King's 
Daughters.
