GRIMSTEAD, widow of the late Daniel A. Grimstead, in the 49th year of her age. The funeral will take place from the Cumberland Street M.E. Church THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON, August 16, at 4 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. ************ Mrs. Margaret A. Grimstead died at her residence, No. 17 Waverly Street, at 12:25 p.m. yesterday, after an illness of two months. She was a member of the following fraternal organizations: The Woodman Circle, Martha Washington Council, No. 3, Daughters of America, Tribe of Ben Hur, Rebekahs, and Tribe of Pocahontas. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, C.L., M.A. and J.W. Grimstead and Miss Bessie Grimstead. The funeral will be held from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church at 4 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.G. Starr, D.D. Virginian Pilot August 16, 1906 ******************************************************************************* MRS. GRIMSTEAD' S FUNERAL LARGELY ATTENDED The obsequies of Mrs. Margaret A. Grimstead, relict of the late Daniel A. Grimstead, were solemnized from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon and were largely attended, including the following female fraternal societies of which the deceased was a member: Woodmen's Circle, Martha Washington Council No. 3, Daughters of America, the Tribe of Ben Hur, the Rebekahs and the Tribe of Pocahontas. The service was conducted by Rev. W.G. Starr, D.D., pastor of the church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
