Norfolk - Herbert W. Grimstead, 48, of 1228 W. 26th street, died in a hospital
after a short illness.

A native of Virginia Beach, he was a son of the late George Lee and Mrs. Mollie
White.

He was a waiter for Franklin House, Williamsburg, and an Army veteran of World
War II.

Surviving is a brother, George Edward Grimstead of Washington.  Services were
held in Graves Funeral Home.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
