Virginia Beach - Mrs. Martha Grimstead, 87, of 804 Virginia Beach Blvd, the 
widow of William Grimstead, died Dec. 2 in her home.

A native of Princess Anne County, she was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church 
and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Haywood of Pennsylvania and Mrs. 
Lillian Ackiss of Virginia Beach; and a son, Walter Mann of Virginia Beach.

A funeral service was held Dec. 5 in Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, with Hairston’s Funeral Home in charge.
