VIRGINIA BEACH - Clarence C. Grinalds, 96, of 740 Avalon Ave., the husband of the 
late Mrs. Grace Doughty Grinalds and a retired farmer, died Wednesday in his home.
He was born in Virginia Beach and was a member of the Hampton Roads Beagle Club.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Audrey Hale of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Mary 
Gleason of Richmond, and Mrs. Margaret Shuflat and Mrs. Sarah Erlandson of 
Virginia Beach; a son, Henry F. Grinalds of Spokane, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 
15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, with Graham 
Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
