John Grisaffi, age 70 years, husband of Mrs. Gaetana Grisaffi and son of the late 
Michael and Mrs. Archangela Grisaffi, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon 
at 2:25 o’clock. Mr. Grisaffi was a native of Italy and a resident of Norfolk for 
the past 42 years, residing at 605 Sewells Point Road at the time of his death. He 
was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; Roma Loggia No. 254, and the Italian 
Benevolent Society. Besides his wife, Mrs. Gaetana Grisaffi, he is survived by one 
son, Phillip Grisaffi; three daughters, Mrs. Archangela Gelaidi, Mrs. Virginia 
Pablock and Mrs. Pauline Vellines, all of Norfolk; seven grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services Tuesday morning at 10 
o’clock. Interment wilL be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services wi11 be held at 
the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 7:30 p.m.
