Michael Grisaffi - Funeral services for Michael Grisaffi, 18-year-old son of John 
and Gaetana Grisaffi, whose death occurred Monday as the result of a highway 
accident, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 
Rev. A. J. Taylor officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral 
offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of pink roses, pink carnations and 
ferns. During the service, several selections were sung by the choir of St. Mary’s 
Female Academy. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were 
conducted by the Rev. Peter Schouten. Honorary pallbearers were P. Fentress, S. 
Matzefahy, E. Cummings, L. Everett, E. Hickey and Albert Herring. Active 
pallbearers were Dan Lea, Peter Garcia, Nunizio Sabato, Charles Rudicile, Epstein 
Lankford and Herbert Childress.
