Virginian Pilot April 12, 1956

Mrs. Gaetana Tinnirello Grisaffi, 74, widow of John Grisaffi and daughter of the 
late Michael and Mrs. Michaelina Tinnirello, died yesterday at 7:30 a.m. at a 
Norfolk hospital. She was a native of Catania, Sicily and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 50 years, residing at 4414 Colley Ave at the time of her death.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arcangela Gelardi, Mrs. John P. Pavlock and 
Mrs. Bert E. Vellines, one son, Phillip M. Grisaffi, six grandchildren and seven 
great grandchildren, all of Norfolk; two brothers and one sister in Italy.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30 o'clock.

at 7:30 a.m., GAETANA TINNIRELLO, widow of John Grisaffi, and daughter of the 
late Michael and Michaelina Tinnirello, in the 75th year of her age. Remains 
will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Ave, to 
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, for services FRIDAY at 10 a.m. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
