NORFOLK - Joseph Benedict Grocki, 70, of the 1100 block of Westover Ave., a 
retired printer supervisor, died April 10,1988, in a hospital.
Mr. Grocki, a native of New York City, had retired from Chickle Co. in New York. 
He was the widower of Julia Grocki.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorane Leavy of Norfolk; a son, Vincent Paul Grocki, 
a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel of Grafton, Va.; a sister, Dorothy Abdres; 
three brothers, Walter Grocki, Anthony Grocki and Stanley Grocki, all of New York 
City, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum.
A Christian wake service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
