Sister Groell has been at St. Vincent's Hospital as one of its corps of sisters for 50 years. She was very well and favorably known throughout this city. She was a native of Buffalo, N.Y. Burial services will be conducted a 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** SISTER BERNICE GROELL - Funeral services for Sister Bernice Groell were held yesterday at 10 o’clock at St. Vincent’s Chapel. Monsignor J. T. O’Farrell was celebrant of the mass. The sermon was by Rev. Frank J. McCourt. Rev. T. E. Waters, Rev. Vincent Warren, Rev. R. E. Hannan, Rev. M. Hartigan, Rev. Richard Drake and Rev. M. Irvine were present. There were many floral offerings. Several selections were rendered during the service by the choir of Sacred Heart School. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were D. F. Donovan, John A. Baecher, John Milan, M. J. Madden, T. J. Hogan and C. B. Carroll.
