Lawrence Groner, and daughter of Mrs. Annie L. and the late John N. Vaughan, died at her home, 902 Graydon avenue, early yesterday morning after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Groner's death was not unexpected. She had been seriously ill for several weeks, and her condition became critical early this week. She was a lifelong resident of this city. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Groner is survived by three sons, John Vaughan Groner, of Washington, D.C.; D. Lawrence Groner, Jr., of New York, and Duncan Goldthwaite Groner, of Norfolk. She also is survived by her mother, Mrs. Annie L. Vaughan, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Myra Vaughan Friebus and Mrs. Aubrey G. Bailey, both of Norfolk, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church tomorrow at noon with the Very Rev. H. Dobson Peacock, the rector, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
