The Virginian Pilot Sunday November 23, 1947
Mrs. Mary Y. Gruver,84, died yesterday at 6:55 a.m. at the home of her son, 
Edward G. Bunting, 630 Lafayette Avenue, South Norfolk, after a long illness.

A native Virginian, she had lived in the section 50 years. Her husband died 
some years ago.

Besides her son, she is survived by a daughter, Louise V. Bunting and eight 
grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where services 
will be held tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
