Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 1, 1935

Mrs. Claudina Guerrero, aged 51, died at her residence, 1101 Holt Street, 
Friday. She was a native of Costa Rica and had resided in Norfolk for 15 years.  
She is survived by her husband, John Guerrero.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Parlors, 610-612 East 
Freemason Street, tomorrow to St. Mary's Catholic Church for funeral services at 
9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Claudina Guerrero - Funeral services for Mrs. Guerrero, wife of John 
Guerrero, who died Friday afternoon at the residence, 1101 Holt street, were 
held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the 
Rev. John Kociela officiating. During the service, several selections were sung 
by the choir of St. Mary’s Academy. The casket was covered with a double cluster 
of pink and white roses and fern. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The 
pallbearers were G. W. Steck, F. Gallego, R. Riggo, R. Maca, G. Obey and Jack 
Doyle. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Kociela paid a high tribute to the 
Christian life and character of Mrs. Guerrero.
