The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday January 25, 1944
Mrs. Margaret Lillian Parron Gunter, 39, wife of Irvin L. Gunter, and daughter 
of William L. and Mrs. Maude Sykes Parron, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday 
at 2:05 a.m. after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, 
making her home at 1818 Canton avenue.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Irvin L Gunter, Jr.; 
a sister, Mrs. Howard Hanbury; and a brother, Thomas R. Parron, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. R.B. Proctor, pastor of Campostella 
Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Gunter was a member will officiate. Interment 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
