Norfolk Landmark November 19,  1897

GURNEY - At the residence, 418 Fayette Street, Portsmouth, Va., November 18th, 
1897, at 11:15 a.m., MARION ESTELLE, daughter of Thomas and Rosa Gurney, aged 14 
months and13 days.
The funeral services will take place at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, 
THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON at 2:45 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are 
respectfully invited to attend.

A precious one from us has gone, 
A voice we loved is stilled, 
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.

The funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gurney's infant daughter, Marie Estelle, took 
place yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock from the family residence, No. 418 
Fayette Street. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
