Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch May 6, 1940
Mrs. Eloise Carden Pace Guy - Funeral services for Mrs. Guy, whose death occurred 
Saturday, were conducted at the Park Place Baptist Church this afternoon at 2 
o'clock, the pastor, the Rev. Henry W. Tiffany, D.D., officiating. Interment was 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Guy was a native of Glasgow, Ky., and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. 
Pace. She had been a resident of Norfolk for the last eight years. She died in the 
University Hospital, Charlottesville, after a short illness.
Besides her parents and husband, she is survived by one son, Louis Lee Guy, Jr., 
of Norfolk; and one brother, Clarence H. Pace, Jr., of Erie, Pa. Mrs. Guy was a 
member of the Park Place Baptist Church.
