Virginian-Pilot September 30, 1964
NORFOLK - Mrs. Lillian Rice Guy, 83, of 4010 Newport Ave., wife of the late James 
Ringold Guy and daughter of Samuel D. and Mrs. Ella Landrum Rice, died in a 
hospital Tuesday at 3:25 p.m.
She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard I. Dwyer of Poplar Branch, N.C., four 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home Thursday at 
2 p.m. by the Rev. Gordon L. Keller of Park Place Baptist Church and Dr. Henry W. 
Tiffany, pastor emeritus. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
