Dr. Louis Edmonds Guy, 53, died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock at his residence, 
1530 East Ocean View avenue, Ocean View. He had been ill for some time. Dr. Guy, 
dental surgeon, was well known and highly esteemed and his failing health caused 
much concern among his many friends.
He was a native of Norfolk and spent his entire life in this city. He was a son 
of the late Elias E. and John Leluce Brown Guy and is survived by his wife, Mrs. 
Anna Rosenegk Guy; three sons, Alfred Rosenegk, Louis E., Jr., and George 
Ringold Guy, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. H. S. Nichols, Norfolk, and Mrs. 
I. S. Wilker, Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Lee S., and J. Ringold Guy, of 
Norfolk, and Norman L. Guy, of Providence, R.I.
Funeral services will be private and will be held at the residence this 
afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
