Norfolk Landmark May 30, 1897
Mrs. Mary Cecelia Guy, wife of Mr. Joseph L. Guy, died at her home, No. 308 Cooke 
avenue, at 10 o'clock last night, after a lingering illness. The deceased was 50 
years of age. The funeral will take place from the Park Avenue Baptist Church 
tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.
