Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 23, 1913

Mrs. Mary Adel Guynn, widow of C.L. Guynn, died at her home, 815 Marshall 
Avenue, Brambleton, at an early hour yesterday morning in the fifty-first year 
of her age. The deceased was a native of Norfolk County, but had been a resident 
of Norfolk twenty-four years and was well known and highly esteemed in the 
community. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.L. Anderson, Mrs. R.M. 
Epes and Miss Ethel Guynn, also two sons, C.L. and L.M. Guynn, all of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be held at the Memorial Christian Temple, of which she was a 
member, at 4 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. 
Warren H. Denison, D.D. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
