Ocean View Ave., a retired print shop supervisor, died Feb. 11, 1987, in a hospital. Mr. Guynn, a Norfolk native, retired from Burke & Gregory Printing Co. after 43 years. He was a member of the International Typographical Union 32 and the Christian Temple. He was a member of the Auxiliary Police of the Norfolk Police Department during World War II. He was the widower of Mary Edith Guynn. Survivors include five daughters, Mildred Stevenson, Lela Guynn and Stella Dozier, all of Norfolk, Frances Glover of Edenton, N.C., and Mary Hill of Virginia Beach; three sons, Robert M. Guynn and Charles B. Guynn, both of Norfolk, and Luther M. Guynn Jr, of Chesapeake; 21 grandchildren; and a great- great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel by the Rev. Donald L. Kirkbride. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
