Baltimore (MD) Sun December 20, 1886 & Norfolk Virginian December 21, 1886 
GWALTNEY - On Saturday, December 18, after a brief illness, Dr. JAMES A. GWALTNEY, 
aged 35 years, eldest son of A. A. and Mary A. Gwaltney, formerly of Norfolk, Va.
Funeral services will be held this (Monday) afternoon, at four o'clock, at his 
late residence, No. 811 North Gilmor street. Friends and acquaintances are invited 
to attend. Interment at Norfolk, Va.

GWALTMEY (sic) - In Baltimore, on Saturday, December 18, after a short illness, 
DR. JAMES A. GWALTMEY (sic), formerly of this city.
The remains will be brought to Norfolk for interment on TUESDAY MORNING, 21st.
