Virginian Pilot July 2, 1904

Mr. J. Temple Gwathmey died yesterday morning near Enfield, N.C.  Deceased was 
in his forty-sixth year and was a son of Mrs. Mary T. Gwathmey and the late W.W. 
Gwathmey, of this city.  He is survived by four brothers--Dr. Lomax Gwathmey, 
Messrs, W.W. and Thornton Gwathmey, all of Norfolk and Dr. James Gwathmey, of 
New York City.  The remains will reach here this morning and the funeral 
probably will take place this afternoon

GWATHMEY - Near Enfield, N.C., Friday, July 1, 1904, TEMPLE GWATHMEY, son of 
Mary T. and the late W.W. Gwathmey, age 45 years.
Funeral private from the family residence, this city, SATURDAY at 6 o'clock p.m.  
Kindly omit flowers.
