Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, May 29, 2002 
NORFOLK - Grant Hagans Jr. passed away May 16, 2002.

Born in Norfolk on Feb. 8, 1916, he was the son of Grant Hagans Sr. and Indiana
J. Hagans , who both predeceased him. He graduated from Booker T. Washington
High School. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and served in the U.S. Army
during World War II.

Mr. Hagans is survived by his only son, Donald Tanner of Tempe, Ariz.; three
grandchildren, LaDonna Grinage, Donald Tanner Jr. and Don Tanner, all of Arizona.

Services will be private on Thursday.
