Virginian-Pilot December 20, 1952
Oliver Langworthy Haight, 61, assistant valuation engineer for the Seaboard Air 
Line Railroad, died Friday at 12:45 p.m. at his residence, 534 Washington Park.
A native of Olean, N.Y., he had been a resident of Norfolk 30 years. His parents 
were the late William J. and Mrs. Alice Langworthy Haight.
He was a member of Portsmouth Lodge No. 82, B.P.0. Elks.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Jean Broughton Haight.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments by the Rev. Royce K. McDonald, pastor of the Second Presbyterian 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
