Halbleib, 81, widower of Lillian Fitzpatrick Halbleib, died in Richmond on Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997. Mr. Halbleib was a former member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, a member of Knights of Columbus and owner of Home Appliance Co. in Norfolk for 45 years. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne T. and Lori L. Halbleib of Midlothian; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon A. and Jack Green of Chesapeake; a sister, Mary Taylor of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Christopher and Danielia Halbleib of Midlothian and Meridith and Steven Green of Chesapeake; a niece; and a nephew. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. Memorial gifts may be made to the Beth Shalom Home, 12000 Gayton Road, Richmond, Va. 23233.
