Halbleib, and daughter of the late Thomas M. and Mrs. Catherine Rusher Landers, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 4:50 o’clock. Mrs. Halbleib was a native of Richmond and a resident of Norfolk for the past 38 years, residing at 2100 Lafayette Boulevard at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the Sodality of that church. Besides her husband, Charles L. Halbleib, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Estelle Kemp, and Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Davenport, both of Norfolk; three sons, L. C., and Raymond W. Halbleib, both of Norfolk, and Thomas J. Halbleib, of the U. S. Navy; two grandchildren, Dolores Rae Halbleib, and Irvin Kemp, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Bannister, of Richmond, and Mrs. Thomas L. Cox, of Chester; one brother, George Landers, of Richmond, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tonight at 8 o’clock.
