Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 19, for Mrs. Sallie O. Haley, who 
died at her residence on Sparrows road, Seatack, Virginia Beach, Sunday, 
Sept. 15.  Rites were conducted at Mt. Olive Baptist Church by the former 
pastor, the Rev. W. Preston Jones.

Mrs. Richetta Green read the family paper and acknowledgements, and Mrs. 
Nancy Patterson sang a solo.  Mrs. Haley came to Norfolk from Mt. Airy, VA, 
seven years ago.  Surviving are eight daughters, two sons, and other 
relatives.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Norfolk with W. Francis 
Taylor Jr. in charge.
