Norfolk - A funeral service was held Sunday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, for 
Mrs. Elizabeth Haley of 895 Memphis street, who died  Jan. 20 in a hospital 
after a short illness.  The Rev. F. P. Wise officiated at the rites.  Interment 
was in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

The Norfolk native was a daughter of the late Nero Hines and Mrs. Adelaide Hines 
and the wife of James Haley.  She was a member of Pioneer Club of Mt. Lebanon.

Also surviving are four sons, David C. Haley, Bernard C. Haley, Eleston R. Haley 
and Cleazon Haley;  a foster daughter, Mrs. James Davis, and two brothers, 
Raymond Hines and Jessie Hines, all of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Pearl Walker of 
Baltimore;  and three grandchildren.
