The Virginia Pilot November 25, 1956

Joseph Bell Hall Jr., six-weeks-old son of Joseph B. and Mrs. Nancy Butlin Hall, 
of 4630 Elmhurst St., Norfolk, died Friday at Charlottesville. Besides his 
parents, he is survived by one brother, Robert Carroll Powers, a sister, Linday 
May Powers, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Butlin and his 
paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Hall, all of Norfolk. Services will be 
held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery.

NORFOLK - Funeral services for Joseph Bell Hall Jr., six-week-old son of Joseph 
B. and Mrs. Nancy B. Hall, who died Friday at Charlottesville, were conducted at 
the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 11a.m. by the Rev. Thomas J. 
Walsh, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
