Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 26, 1936

Mrs. Mary Rosalie Burchfield Hall, aged 64, wife of David H. Hall, died 
yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her residence, 5000 Fairview Avenue, 
Norview, after a long illness. A native of North Carolina, she was the daughter 
of the late Thomas A . and Mrs. Eliza E. Burchfield and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 20 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Mary Rosalie Tennis; three 
sons, Harold M., Thomas H. and David W. Hall, all of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. 
O.E. Anderson, of Portsmouth; one brother, Thomas A. Burchfield, of Baltimore 
and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the 
James V. Derry Funeral Home, 346 West Princess Anne Road. The Rev. Luther W. 
Strickler, pastor of the First Lutheran Church and the Rev. W.W. Williford will 
officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
