Hall died at his home, 338 Boush Street, at 5:35 o'clock p.m. Tuesday in the 80th year of his age. The deceased was well known and highly esteemed in the community, where he had resided for many years. He was a man of unflinching integrity and was for forty years a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Ellen Catherine Hall and two sons, Augustus S. and Lewis E. Hall, of Norfolk and an only sister, Mrs. Mary R. Webb, of Baltimore. The deceased was a member of Norfolk Lodge, A.F. and A. Masons, the Royal Arch Chapter of Masons and Harmony Lodge of Odd Fellows. The funeral will be held from his late residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Additional Comments: Elmwood DOD on tombstone is Jan 25 which was a Wednesday.
