Norfolk - Mrs. Mattie Sheard Hall of 1107 Ballentine boulevard received funeral 
rites Sunday in First Calvary Baptist Church.  She died Oct. 13 in a hospital.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin officiated at the funeral.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.

A member of First Calvary, Mrs. Hall was a native of Raleigh, NC.  She was the 
daughter of Henry Sheard and Mrs. Mollie Sheard, and the widow of Alexander Hall 
Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rosa L. Hardy, Mrs. Mattie Wyatt and 
Mrs. Edna Wilson of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Mrs. W. Brooks and Mrs. Lena 
Harris of Norfolk;  14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
