Norfolk - Funeral rites for Martin Hall, 55, of 904 Fremont street, were 
conducted Sunday in Graves Funeral Chapel.  Interment followed in Calvary 
Cemetery.

Mr. Hall, a former employee of the City of Norfolk, died Dec. 8 at his home.  He 
was the husband of Mrs. Carlethia Hall and a son of the late John C. and Mrs. 
Lydia B. Hall.

Also surviving are four sons, John C. Hall Jr. of Chesapeake,  Charlie Hall of 
Delaware, Ed Hall of New York, and Lesell Hall of Baltimore;  and six sisters,  
Mrs. Ada Carwell, Mrs. Mamie Cherry and Mrs. Alice Holloway of Baltimore, Mrs. 
Roxanne Holmes of Newark, NJ, Miss Della Hall of Virginia Beach,  and Mrs. Ida 
Holmes of Norfolk.
