Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday March 17, 1936
Mrs. Susie Dunn Hall died at her residence, 549 Virginia avenue, yesterday 
morning at 9:40 o'clock after a long illness.  She was a native of Hampton and 
had resided in Norfolk for 40 years.  Surviving are her husband, T.G. Hall; 
three daughters, Mrs. A.C. Stokes, Newport News; Mrs. E.C. Dudley, Philippine 
Islands and Mrs. V.W. Caffey, Jr., Ridgeway; one son, Bruce L. Hall, of Norfolk; 
one sister, Mrs. C.C. Dexter, Richmond; two brothers, J.V. Dunn, Newport News 
and E.L. Dunn, Norfolk and 14 grandchildren.  The body will be taken from the 
Funeral Home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road, to the residence 
this afternoon.  Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow 
morning at 11 o'clock by the Rev. T.A. Smoot, pastor of Epworth Methodist 
Episcopal Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery
