After an illness of several weeks, which she bore with Christian resignation, Mrs. DIADEMA HALL, consort of H.T. Hall, of this city in the 22d year of her age. The deceased, though formerly from Princess Anne County, has for the last ten years resided in our community. She has left a husband and child with numerous friends and relatives to lament her unexpected departure. She was a kind and devoted wife, the indulgent parent, the warm friend, beloved and respected by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Mrs. H. was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church and showed by her pious walk and conversation that she adorned the doctrine which she had long professed. It is a melancholy hour in which the writer is deprived of an affectionate friend. But however afflicting it may be to take the last lingering look of one who is dying in full triumph of faith, perfectly in her senses and resigned to God the author of her faith, ready at any moment to be conveyed by a convoy of Angels to a blissful immortality. Blessed are they who die in the Lord.
