A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of William F. Hall. Mrs. Hall served as traffic guard at Lindenwood Avenue and Barre Street for 25 years. She was a member of St. John AME Church, where she was past president of the Stewardess Board and a member of the Laymen's Organization, Gospel Choir, Wednesday Night Prayer Group, Bible Study, Sunday School, and Gardener and Saunders Fellowship Group. She was a member also of St. Thomas Chapter 51, Order of the Eastern Star; United Order of Tents, Rebecca Tent 707; and Lafayette Presbyterian Senior Citizens Group. Other survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Oney H. Williams, Mrs. Vivian Floyd, Mrs. Geraldine Stokes, and Mrs. Gloria Gross of Norfolk, Mrs. Shirley Hoggard of San Diego, and Mrs. Shirley Clary of New York; eight sons, William V. Hall and Wallace Hall of Norfolk, Roger Hall and Clinton Hall of Chesapeake, Roland Hall of Virginia Beach, the Rev. Leon B. Hall Sr. of Hampton, Sidney Hall of Washington, D.C., and Melvin Holley of New York; three brothers, Oscar Fuller and Samuel Leon Fuller Sr. of Detroit, and William Vincent Fuller of Washington; 60 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.in St. John AME Church by the Rev. Walter C. Davis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. a Wake service will be held Wednesday form 7 to 9 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel. The body will be placed in the church Thursday at 10 a.m. They family will be at her home.
