Norfolk Virginian December 6, 1894

Rev. J.J. Hall, D.D., will preach the funeral of Mr. J.J. Hall, Jr., today at 11 
a.m. at Park Avenue Baptist Church.  This gentleman died at his home No. 15 Park 
Avenue Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, aged 37 years. He had been in declining 
health for some time.  He was considered a consistent Christian man and leaves a 
wife and little daughter to mourn his untimely death.  Interment will take place 
in Elmwood.

The funeral of Mr. Joseph J. Hall, son of the late Rev. Joseph J. Hall, of 
Princess Anne County, took place yesterday morning from the Park Avenue Baptist 
Church and was conducted by Rev. Dr. Hall.  The deceased was 37 years of age.  
He leaves a wife and daughter.  The interment was in Elmwood.
