Norfolk - Norman Hall of 939 Park Ave., the husband of Mrs. Ellen Clark Hall and 
a native of Halifax County, NC, died April 23 after a heart attack.

He was a machinists’ helper at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where he worked for 40 
years.

He was a member of the Metropolitan Men’s Club of Norfolk and Mary’s Chapel 
Baptist Church of North Carolina.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Maxine Gibbs of Washington; 
three sisters, Mrs. Laura McTootle, Mrs. Mary H. Smith and Mrs. Sarah Frazier, 
and two brothers, George Hall and Walter Hall, all of New York; and three 
grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Sunday at Kingdom Hall, 1721 Brown Ave., by Willie R. 
Joyner. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in charge.
