Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 22, 1948

Mrs. Madeline Cornelia Lotts Hall, 23, wife of Stuart H. Hall and daughter of 
Mrs. Mabel Berry and the late William Lotts, died Wednesday at 10:10 p.m.
She was a native of Staunton and a resident of Norfolk for 17 years, residing at 
422 West 34th Street at the time of her death.
She is survived only by her husband and mother.
Services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at noon. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Madeline Cornelia Lotts Hall. Funeral services for Mrs. Hall, wife of 
Stuart H. Hall, who died Wednesday, were conducted yesterday at noon at the H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments by the Rev. Edward W. Johnston, pastor of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were James 
Oglethorpe, Floyd G. Canterbury, E. J. Vetter, George Berman, Charles B. 
Campbell and Linwood Ewell.
