Samuel J. Halstead, in the 62d year of her life. Funeral will take place from her late residence THIS AFTERNOON at 1:30 o'clock. ************** The many friends of Mrs. Sarah A. Halstead will be pained to hear of her death, which sad event occurred Friday night at 11:57 o'clock, after a painful illness which she bore with Christian fortitude. Deceased was the wife of Elder S.J. Halstead. She was the mother of thirteen children, seven of whom are living, five sons and two daughters, all married. Mrs. Halstead was a devout member of the Baptist Church and died as she had lived, full of hope of a blessed hereafter. Her funeral will take place from her late residence, 719 Church Street extended, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. ************************************************************************ The funeral of Mrs. Sarah A. Halstead, wife of Rev. S.J. Halstead, who died Friday night at her home, 719 Church Street, took place from the above residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. J.P. Barrett of the Christian Memorial Temple assisted by the Rev. Dr. J.J. Taylor, of Freemason Street Baptist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
