Virginian Pilot May 29, 1902

HALSTEAD - At the residence of Mr. W.B. Hanberry, No. 481 N. Sheldon Avenue, 
Wednesday, May 28th, 1902, at 6:45 a.m. MARTHA HALSTEAD, widow of the late C.W. 
Halstead, aged 33 years.
The funeral will take place from the Queen Street, M.E. Church THIS (Thursday) 
AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to 
attend.

The obsequies of the late Mrs. Martha Halstead, widow of the late Mr. C.W. 
Halstead, took place from the Queen Street Methodist Church at 2 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon and was preached by Rev. J.K. Jolliff, pastor of the church, 
the interment being in Elmwood Cemetery.
