Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 30, 1917

Earl W. Halstead, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Halstead, died at the family 
residence on Broad Creek road yesterday morning after an illness of ten days.  The 
funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the residence.  The 
services will be conducted by Rev. J.E. Noble, pastor of the East Brambleton 
Baptist Church.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
