Hammill, who died at his home on Fortieth Street, Friday morning, was held from the residence at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. Massasoit Tribe of Red Men, of which the deceased was a member, was present in a body. The services were conducted by Rev. John W. Carroll, of the Methodist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were selected from friends of the deceased and the Red Men.
