Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, February 6, 1992
Ruth B. Hamlin of the 900 block of Washington Ave., a retired domestic worker,
died Feb. 2, 1992.

Mrs. Hamlin was born in Portsmouth. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist
Church and United Order of Tents 105. She was the widow of Thomas Hamlin.

Survivors include a daughter, Beatrice Powell of Norfolk; four grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev G.G. Campbell Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home
is handling arrangements.
