NORFOLK - Rosa Lee Hamlin of 406 W. 31st St., a native of Waverly, died Friday 
in a hospital.

Mrs. Hamlin was a member of Lily of the Valley Baptist Church in Waverly.

Survivors include her mother, Pearlie M. Barrow of Waverly; four daughters, 
Audrey Upshur, Rosa Hamlin, Joann Hamlin and Sharon Hamlin, and a son, Ronnie 
Davis, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary Esita of New York, Linda Barrow of 
Waverly and Caprinia Johnson of Petersburg; five brothers, James Barrow, Walter 
Barrow and Rudy Jones, all of Waverly, James L. Woodley of New York and Lee 
Barrow of Washington, D.C.; a stepsister, Doretha Ricks of Waverly; and five 
grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Community Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
