Hammond, a widow lady, sister of Mr. G.H.B. Miller, died at her residence, 515 Brambleton Avenue, Sunday at 11 a.m. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the residence at 3 o'clock, Rev. J.J. Wicker, of Spurgeon Memorial Church, officiating and the remains were interred in Elmwood Cemetery. ********************************************************************* The funeral of Mrs. James Hammond, who died Sunday morning, took place at the residence of her brother, George V. Miller, in Brambleton, at 4 o'clock yesterday. She leaves one brother, son-in-law and two grandchildren. She was the mother-in- law of Mr. J.E. Beachum.
