Virginian Pilot May 5, 1968

Mrs. Mildred Hammonds of 1015 Dunbar St. died Saturday in a hospital.
A native of Aurora, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Mrs. Laura 
Carr and the wife of Marion C. Hammonds.
Besides her husband, surviving are a stepson, Curtis C. Hammonds; a stepdaughter, 
Miss Denise Hammonds; and a brother, Louis Carr, all of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at 805 Forbes St.
