Hanbury, in Jackson street, South Norfolk, Saturday evening, was conducted from Liberty Street M.E. Church yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. V.W. Bargamin, pastor, assisted by Rev. P.S.C. Davis, pastor of South Norfolk Baptist Church and Rev. Herbert Scholz, pastor of Main Street Christian Church, officiated. The attendance was large and the floral designs were numerous and beautiful. To the seat in the choir which she formerly occupied was tied a large bow of white ribbon. That she was very much beloved in the community was evident. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The pallbearers were M. Sykes, Oscar Petherbridge, Felix Jennings, Mr. Pritchard, Mr. Whichard.
