Hanbury, an aged citizen, died after an illness of about one hour. He was in apparent good health in the early part of the afternoon but was taken ill shortly after returning to his home. The deceased was a native of Norfolk county, having moved to South Norfolk from Mount Pleasant about five years ago. He was 74 years of age and is survived by a widow and seven children, four boys and three girls. He was a member of South Norfolk Christian Church. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence and was conducted by Rev. W.N. Butler of Newport News, Va., a former pastor of the Main Street Christian Church, Berkley. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
